THERMOCON

THERMOCON was built on the success of our Model EZC-1 Zero Crush Bar. The same patented technology was applied to THERMOCON to achieve unprecedented accuracy in pressure control on the corrugator hotplates.
The result has been that THERMOCON can save waste, warp, energy, steam, belt wear, and enhance finished sheet properties to to please both you and your customers.
This pneumatically operated, PC/PLC controlled system is designed for long life and maintenance-free operation. Reaction times and pressure ranges are preset at installation to match the operating characteristics of each corrugator and crew.
THERMOCON is a pressure/temperature controlled system. Under normal operating conditions the operator may make a small change to the set point for a particular grade of corrugated. The computer accepts this set point, adjusts the pressure to the belt, and calculates a new average set point. In this way THERMOCON always has the most accurate average set point and is constantly adjusting for changes in the seasons or paper suppliers.
The accuracy of this system is easily visible on the “Touch Screen”. The control pressures read out in grams or ounces.
THERMOCON has all the advantages of the competing systems with none of the limitations.
